Safe Routes to School and Clean Air for Children
A 32-Spot Gas Station near a kindergarten playground is fuckin wild. And warehouse on a road used by 4 schools. Despite all 4 schools being affected, only two were mentioned in the DEIR.Analyzing shortest path shows that Harvard way, a road heavily used by students, would be used by people going to the proposed costco, it was not included in the traffic study.These same roads are also where students park their cars. Students from Silva Valley Elementary, Rolling Hills Middle and Oak Ridge High School ride their bikes, scooters and walk along these roads.Online spread the word about this Costco.Join here for information on easy low commitment tasks you can do.If you're interested joining the effort, here is this:Tell the county to include the study of Harvard Way. Include the people who use these roads. That means all four schools should be included.This Costco Project is a Short-Sighted pseudo Solution, that compounds problems.Here's a ridiculous video explaining the situation:
